Video Walkthrough

Step-by-Step Instructions: First Time Adding Tos Volatility Ranges

  1. Download "Tos Volatility Ranges.txt" file.


2. Copy the text from "Tos Volatility Ranges.txt to your clipboard.


3. Open your ThinkOrSwim Platform, navigate to "Charts" and Click "Studies" then "Edit studies" in the top right corner.


4. Click "Create "


5. Name the Study "SteamroomVolatilityRanges".


6. Remove "plot Data = close;" from the text window.


7. Paste in the "Tos Volatility Ranges" from your clipboard to the text window and click OK.

That's It!


First Time Adding Tos Gex Levels

  1. Download "Tos Gex Levels.txt" file.

2. Copy the text from "Tos Gex Levels.txt" to your clipboard.

3. Open your ThinkOrSwim Platform, navigate to "Charts" and Click "Studies" then "Edit studies" in the top right corner.

4. Click "Create "

5. Name the Study "SteamroomGexLevels".

6. Remove "plot Data = close;" from the text window.

7. Paste in the "Tos Volatility Ranges" from your clipboard to the text window and click ok.


Updating Volatility Ranges & Gex Levels

  1. Download "file.txt" file.

  2. Copy the text from "file.txt" to your clipboard.

  3. Open your ThinkOrSwim Platform, navigate to "Charts" and Click "Studies" in the top right corner.

  4. Click the text field update icon next to the study name

5. Paste in the "text file" from your clipboard to the text window and click ok


Trouble Shooting

I do not see indicator labels on my levels?

Labels are off-set to the right so they do not obstruct the view of price. Make sure your expansion area has enough room in the right to show the labels. You can change this under "Time Axis Settings".
