Making sense of the futures sentiment charts

Futures sentiment is a contrarian intermediate-term indicator that Wall St. Jesus posts throughout the week.

When the underlying levels are approaching the green line, this indicates that the underlying is likely oversold, and vice versa.
โ€‹
Many traders consider a long bias near the green line and a short bias near the red line. So, when ES nears the green line, traders should consider opportunities to go long ES or equivalent assets and vice versa.

When the VIX futures chart approaches the red line, traders should consider opportunities to go short VIX or equivalent assets and vice versa.
