If a trader is not approved for margin trading, they will not be able to utilize the full Trading the Post Strategy. This is because TTP requires traders to write (sell options) around their LEAP position. Accounts that do not have margin approved can only establish long positions (i.e. buy stocks, options, etc.).

Traders should work with their brokers to change their account to a margin account to utilize the full TTP Strategy.
